Description: This session brings together YA authors whose new nonfiction sheds light on urgent problems of today including the climate crisis, the plight of Palestinians, erasure of queer people, abuses and absurdities of capitalism, and deportation of immigrants. Authors will discuss ways their books equip students with knowledge to reimagine our world. Participants will crowdsource curriculum connections.
